Ta-Styles AKA Mr. Insecurity***An Emcee embodies the heart of a rapper, but a rapper can never embody the soul of an Emcee. In a rap music world that is heavily saturated with superficiality and one dimensional rappers, one MC is using his artistry to put the heart and soul back into Hip Hop. He likens himself to the character in the legendary book "The Catcher In Rye." Additionally, Ta Styles is known by the moniker "Mr. Insecurity." The term represents his struggles with his identity and his image and the challenges involved in pursuing one's dreams. It's a struggle everyone can identify with. Ta Styles considers himself to be the people's champ and he makes music that people can relate to. His father was a Brooklyn rapper, who was affiliated with Lil cease and the rest of Junior M.A.F.I.A. Young Ta Styles used to hear his dad rap and come up with songs. *His dad was a major influence on him. In fact Ta Styles wrote his first rap song when he was just 9 years old, but he didn*t take rapping serious until he was 11 years old. And at the age of 15 he recorded his first song called *Break the floor*.****Equally important, Ta Styles attended Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, which enabled him to further expand his rap vocabulary and hone his skills. Armed with a pen, a microphone and an unshakeable will to succeed, Ta Styles made a huge impact with his critically acclaimed debut street album/mixtape entitled *Saga of The Blue Moon* hosted by DJ AceBoogie. "Saga Of The Blue Moon" is a collection of authentic, heartfelt, and poetic songs. The mixtape spawned several hit songs including *Get Up Off Ya Grind," "OMG," "Picture Me Rollin," and "Enlightened (Illuminati)."****Ta Styles created a tremendous buzz as a result of the "Saga Of The Blue Moon" mixtape. He was profiled in the Indie Grind spotlight of the nationally distributed Hip Hop Weekly Magazine. Also, the music video for "Get Up Off Ya Grind" was featured on the popular website VladTV. Additionally Ta Styles collaborated with fellow Brooklyn Rapper Troy Ave AKA Harry Powder on the "OMG Remix." Ta Styles* "OMG Remix" with Troy AVe was featured on over 150 websites and blogs including TheSource.com, Inflexwetrust.com, 2DopeBoyz.com and more. *And it must be noted that The prestigious A&R Power Summit labeled Ta Styles as one of the top 5 Hip Hop artists to watch for 2013.****The enigmatic emcee is backed by the renowned Papertrail Music Group LLC. The organization is molding Ta Styles into being an important voice in the world of Hip Hop. "

I wear Jordans and borrow my lil brother's camo cargos. The steering wheel in my convertible doom buggy is cheetah print with pink lining. Shuffle my playlist you'll hear a lil McLyte, VV Brown, Mac Miller, old Kanye and HAIM. I like scars and boast about my black and blues. I bench 155 and love mascara, lip gloss and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I switch my hairstyles as much as possible, love bandanas and obnoxious jewelry. I used to want to deliver babies cuz that's what people on honor roll all their life do, become doctors and shit. One day I'll be an actress and the voice of a cartoon character, freaking love cartoons. I'm Jamaican, yes 100%. Hate being light skinned so don't call me by my complexion. I like football, to watch and play. Don't ask why they call me Blossom...stay tuned and see for yaself.
